Nancy Litkee, raised in Hornepayne, left for a few years to advance her forestry career. Drawn back by family and a desire to give back to her hometown, she seized the opportunity to purchase a local restaurant, founding Eats & Treats to bring joy and delicious food to her community.

Great small town atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Very reasonably priced, was surprised coming from southern Ontario the pricing was competitive and on par with much bigger urban places.

Stopped in here when our Vancouver to Toronto ViaRail made an extended stop here. Best food we’ve eaten in Canada - yes, I’m shocked too. We’ve had high end fare in Vancouver and Toronto that pale in comparison to flawless execution of the basics that made this gem a wonderful surprise. The food is unfussy and approachable but done well with good quality ingredients.
